The FertileScope™ Story
FertileScope is a small, privately owned, company that is focused on making quality microscopes that help people see just by looking.
The technology that the FertileScope uses was developed by an an optical engineer who was experimenting with ways to make high power microscopes useable by young children. The notion was that if all the knobs and adjusters were removed, then there would be, essentially, nothing to break, and educators would be more inclined to allow students to play and explore.
What's Coming Next?
As it turns out, there are commercial applications that could benefit from this technology, and some of those applications are being developed. If you have an application that you want us to develop please let us know. We are currently concentrating our efforts on developing what we call the iphonemicroscope™.
